Ballingarry progressed into the third round of the Munster Junior Cup and a trip to Broadford thanks to a resounding 5-1 win at home to Carrig. All the hard work was done in the opening half where goals from Francis Kiely, Kevin Forde, Brian Fitzgerald and Richard O’Kelly gave them a 4-0 interval lead. The second half proved academic as Dean Clancy added a fifth before Carrig got their consolation.
