Ballingarrys hopes of winning the Premier Division may have subsided somewhat over the past two games however they showed against Glin Rovers on Sunday that they will continue to fight till the end and should NCW slip up that they will be ready to pounce. Ballingarry went 2 up at the break with goals from Francis Kiely, a penalty, and Marcus Moore. Glin, with the wind at their backs, made a real game of it in the second half scoring direct from a corner on 65 minutes. There were to be no more goals with Ballingarry closing the gap on NCW who didn’t play.
