Anna Shanahers superb strike just wasn’t enough as AK United defeated Ballingrry 2-1 in the U16 girls cup final at Askeaton. A close game throughout saw AK go one up before Shanahers struck to level at the break. However AKs second goal midway through a second half dominated by Ballingarry was enough to win it for the Black and Red.
