Ballingarry booked their place in the last eight of the Desmond cup and a trip to Carrig Celtic thanks to Francis Kielys’ sole strike last Sunday (April 9th 2006) in Adare. A poor game produced just the one goal when Kiely pounced ten minutes from time to intercept a poor back pass to slot home.
