The Desmond League, at its delegate meeting on Monday August 8th last, announced that the league cup format would change for the coming season. Gone is the group format that was in operation since 1998 and in its place is a straight knockout competition which will begin in Febuary. The system that was, was good for Ballingarry as they made the final on three occasions.
The league itself will get under way on Sunday August 28th.
